John is a highly qualified chiropractor with a diverse range of skills and certifications. He hold’s a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College and an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Western University. In addition to his formal education, John holds several certifications, including an Advanced Certificate in Custom Stabilizing Orthotics, a Sports Science & Human Performance Certification, a Whole Food Nutrition Certification from, and a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Certificate. Overall, John brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and skill to the field of chiropractic. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal health and wellness, and is committed to ongoing professional development in order to provide the highest quality of care possible.
Cherry graduated from the Centennial College massage therapy program in 2010 and has been with Active Rehab Centre since 2011. Her focus is in tailoring a unique treatment plan for each individual allows her to provide effective treatments. She has learned a variety of massage techniques, most often using deep tissue, trigger point therapy and fascial release. She has had years of experience with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions as well as pregnancy massage and sports and motor vehicle injuries. She believes that posture correction and muscle balancing is the key to pain relief.

Nan employs a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, relaxation massage, tuina, hot stone massage, myofascial release, soft tissue stretching, trigger point therapy, and cupping massage. She takes a patient-centered approach, crafting personalized treatment plans to address each client’s unique needs and goals.

Anjali is a Registered Physiotherapist in the province of Ontario with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological conditions. She is skilled in soft tissue mobilization techniques, taping, cervical & lumbar tractions. She also uses modalities as needed for managing & controlling pain so patients can improve their quality of life. She believes in correcting faulty postural habits before they become irreversible and has a special interest in treating post-operative joint replacement surgery patients.
Ms. Sonia Bector is a licensed and registered physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, bringing over 14 years of expertise in physiotherapy and rehabilitation across Canada.
With extensive experience, Sonia has developed a strong reputation as a knowledgeable and skilled practitioner. She specializes in treating patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVA), workplace injuries (WSIB), as well as those with orthopedic and sports-related injuries.
Sonia is deeply committed to identifying the underlying causes of her patients’ conditions and educating them on their injuries and treatment options. Her practice integrates a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, joint mobilizations, soft tissue release, the Mulligan technique, customized exercise programs, and advanced electrotherapeutic modalities. This holistic approach allows her to design tailored and effective treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique goals and needs.
Susan is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Master of Science in Physical Therapy program. She previously attended McMaster University, receiving her Degree of Bachelor of Kinesiology Honours and Minor in Psychology. After completing her Masters, Susan worked as a physiotherapist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Toronto General Hospital where she treated patients in the cardiac, vascular, multi-organ, trauma and medical surgery units. Susan has been practicing at Active Rehab Centre for the last 7 years. Often working with patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, post operative surgery, repetitive strain and work/sports related injuries. Treatment approaches include manual therapy (active release/trigger point release/mobilizations) modalities, exercise prescription and kinesio-taping.

Toru graduated from George Brown College in 2015 with certification in medical aesthetics, skincare therapy, body treatment and makeup artistry. Upon completing her studies, she began her career in the beauty industry, where she was met with various skin conditions that came from deeply rooted health issues such as Rosacea and Acne, having a chronic health background and internal inflammation. Having experienced stress induced adult Acne herself, she discovered the importance of managing her lifestyle and nutrition. Today, she is a certified Transition Lifestyle System Coach. She is in the process of completing her certification in Skin Nutrition at the Canadian Academy of Sports Nutrition, which will further help her provide comprehensive results driven regiments for her clients’ long-term wellness. Toru is passionate about nurturing a sense of beauty achieved by elevating the balance of each individual life energy.
Registered Nutrition Consultant
Tracy is a registered nutritional specialist, who graduated from Canadian Academy of Natural Health in 2001 and completed Advanced Health and Nutrition program. In addition, she is a certified nutrition consultant with a certification in Medicinal Nutrition from Canadian Academy of Sports Nutrition in 2017. She took a path in practicing natural medicine upon being diagnosed with RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) in 2009 which led to a complete remission of her RA. Tracy’s practice is about the impact of nutrition on health and how to help a diseased body heal naturally.
Amita is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist with experience in the field since 2014. She brings a unique understanding of cultural nuances, particularly as a first-generation South Asian therapist, allowing her to empathetically address the distinct challenges faced by marginalized communities. Her practice extends support to adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, refugee claimants, first responders, military members, veterans, and survivors of domestic violence. Amita is especially devoted to individuals from equity-seeking communities, providing a safe and inclusive space for their healing.
Amita’s therapeutic expertise encompasses a range of modalities, including EMDR, EFIT, Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness-based practices. She specializes in assisting individuals in overcoming trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and loss, postpartum and parenting challenges, adult ADHD, and Operational Stress Injuries (OSI), among other issues. Her compassionate and warm nature, combined with a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach, enables her to forge deep connections with clients and guide them through their journey of healing.
In addition to English, Amita provides therapy in Marathi, Hindi, and Urdu, demonstrating her commitment to offering language-specific support to ensure clients feel truly understood.
